As the art director on this project, I led a team of designers and worked closely with Apple Corporate to develop an experience that would bridge the gap between Apple and Walmart.com. Our discussions with Apple marketing and product leads in combination with my Walmart counterparts in Development, Merchandising and Site Management, lead us to create an experience that fused the clean elements and style of Apple, but with the user experience elements found throughout Walmart.com and some slightly different applications of the product images to integrate the visuals into a consistent customer experience.
